About Ming

Performance insight. Technical precision. Human connection.

Ming Kong is a blind violinist, educator, multi-instrumentalist, piano technician, and audio producer whose international performance work has reached more than 40 countries.

After completing BM and MM training in violin performance at UNCG, Ming was admitted to George Mason University’s Doctor of Musical Arts program in Performance, beginning Fall 2026. His work connects Western and Chinese musical traditions with a practical, client-centered approach.

Meet Wonder, Ming’s guide dog

Ming is a blind musician, and Wonder is his professionally trained guide dog and working partner. She may accompany him to lessons, tuning appointments, sessions, and performances. Clients with allergies or other concerns are welcome to mention them when booking so practical arrangements can be discussed in advance.
